Question:

Hello LAS id appreciate it if anybody could give any advice on a c8. im very new to astronomy and want to see planets and galaxies. i want a telescope what will do the job without having to buy another one. any info would be appreciated cheers guys.

Hello carl, I don't know of any members with a c8 but some of our members have the c6 and others have the 9.25 and larger and as far as I am aware they are all extremely happy with there telescopes. If you would like to come up to our Leighton observatory http://www.liverpoolas.org/content/view/18/37/ one Wednesday evening when clear there are usually 1 or 2 there so you could try before you buy so to speak.
