Hi i am new to this forum and have joined as it looks really good and I have a big question to ask you all.

Does anyone have any information on a meteorite seen over the skies of Liverpool some time between the years 1982 and 1984 HuhHuh

Any information would be gratefully appreciated as I cannot seem to find anything on the internet.

Thanks Frank (condorman).

Hi Frank, welcome to the site.
Have you any more info to narrow things down? e.g. was it particularly bright, or did it have a colour to it?
It's possible there would have been several bright meteors in that time period

Further to my 1st post I have been in contact with the Liverpool Echo, who to my surprise were quick in getting back in touch with me.  I was unfortunately wrong in my calculation of the date.  There reply was the meteorite was in the sky in December 1986, (HEADLINE "Great balls of Fire") they have been good enough to be sending me a copy of the page so that I can show to other people.  When I receive it I will be happy to post or email it out to any interested party.  Thanks for repling to my email.
