Seen in the current issue of Sky at Night mag that there is going to be an event on 16th Jan. This is in conjunction with the BBC's Star Watching live event to be held at Court Hey Park. Could someone post some details of time and what will be going on, apart from a lot of looking up. Only live round the corner so would like to come along.

Hi Andy the event starts at 7pm there will be telescopes to look through (weather permitting) and we will be giving illustrated talks all the details are in the Sidewalk Astronomy section http://www.liverpoolas.org/content/section/11/61/

Really enjoyed last night. Had a look through some very impressive scopes. Everyone was so helpful and very willing to offer help and advice. Took the wife along and she also enjoyed finding out a bit more about the night sky. Well done LAS.
