Hi All
As a newbie to the site just thought I would say a big hello to you all,I'm 38 live in Kirkby and I'm trying to re-ignite an old childhood interest in astronomy, so I could do with all the help and advice everyone has to offer,Starting with the buying of my scope,with budget of £300,what would be the best scope to go for?I kind of like the idea of deep space objects so one suited to that task would be a help.

Hi Chris, I would suggest coming along to one of our Wednesday meetings to discuss which telescope to buy, the choice is vast and easier to explain in person than in writing.
