Another top viewing night at pex hill yesterday (wednesday), orion just hanging there in the sky saying "look at me" which we all did, had another hour in my garden when i got home, a lovely clear night, liverpool winning 2-0 was the icing on the cake.

thanks a lot to Dave for the 1 2 1 chat on lens filters, again more questions answered top man and i now have a membership form so next week fingers crossed fully membered up. 

anyone get to see any aurora's last night ? or was Graham taking the mick.

It was a good night Jamie, really enjoyed the chat. I managed to get the observatory telescope running again but need to do a couple more test on it. Bring along clear skies and more questions.

This is the first time I ever heard of Pex hill. Is there a process or booking system to maybe get a look at the telescope?

We are open to the Public on Wednesdays from 7 pm details of how to find Pex hill are on the website home page under Information on Weekly Meetings.Hope to see you there.

Thanks for the pointer, Chris. I'm only 5-10 mins away so will probably pop down there to locate it and then call in wednesday

You can't miss it Ray, entrance directly opposite the 6th form college, straight up the hill to the top. You will see the building/dome on the left.
Hopefully you will bring some clear sky with you .
