Any chance someone can give me and my son some help trying to set up a Skywatcher Goto telescope I have just bought?  We are complete but very keen amateurs and know that once we get going and know how to align etc we will be fine but we could do with a tutorial and not just a manual!  We live on the Wirral. Thanks!

Hi Sue, which model is it you have bought, I would recommend
you pay us a visit at the Leighton Observatory on a Wednesday evening and we would be only to happy to show you how to get the best out of you scope, if you cannot make it we are at Thurstaston on Saturday October 16th for our Wrral star party.
cheers

Thanks Brendan. We have a Skyhawk-1145p Synscan AZ GOTO 114mm (to be precise!!). Whereabouts in Leighton do you meet?would we bring the telescope with us?  I had seen the notice about the star party at Thurstaton and think that would be great to go to
