Looking up untill I fallover backwards

Hi new here but not so new to Astronomy, well am looking to buy a Telescope with hopefuly a £400 budjet am looking for a Goto Telescope that will serve well at viewing Planet's naboring stars and Galaxy's and with the ability to do Astrophotography by means of ataching a DSLR camera biscly am looking for a fair sized apiture with 400x potential or close.
Hope am not talking pie in the sky.

Hi Jon, thats a tough one, you may be best trying to buy a second hand scope try this site http://www.astrobuysell.com/uk/
There are other possible options, if you come up to the observatory one Wednesday we could discuss it more.
