Hi I am after some help. I have been looking for some time for my first scope, I have found on ebay 6" reflector for £65, it says its a zenith. Can any body advise on this model as I cannot find any information on it anywhere. I suspect for the price its not that good?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Trev, im afraid ive never heard of that make telescope so i cant advise you, if you are serious about buying a telescope I would advise you to come up to our observatory at Pex Hill first and have chat first if you cant come if you could let me know your budget I could probably advise you on which scope to go for.
cheers

Hi Brendan thanks for the reply
I think getting over might be awkward as I live a fair distance away. Budget wise I am not looking at to much over the £100 mark. Really trying to get the best value for money, its something I would like to take away in the caravan, became interested when I noticed how many stars there are when out of the city. So I guess portability is another thing I would need to consider.

Hi Trev, I would recommend a good pair of binoculars, easy to carry around and you would be suprised at the things you will be able to see out in the countrysides night sky (galaxies etc), of course they can then be used during the day.
cheers
