See LAS’s very own Dave Galvin and a non-speaking back shot of Brendan at

Or goto BBC website to view the latest episode of Sky at Night

What was the software used to emulate the moons' transits?

Hi John, the software used on screen was 'Starry NIght Pro' which I find to be very accurate for showing such events and it looks good too. It is a commercial software and cost around £80.

Another piece of software is Winjupos, I believe it is also free to use.

This is very accurate and covers the planets and their moons.
