Title: Hello
Post by: Phil Bufton on 19-Jun-2008 17:06:34 UTC
Hi, Just signed up a moment ago, being new to this astronomy thing, thought I'd say hello, as I will be pestering you lot for a long time to come i think!  Just doing an OU course in astronomy which has got me hooked into all this, and have an order in for some Bresser 10x50's as starter bino's as appears to be popular.  As I live  in light polluted Wallasey, I need to find somewhere on the Wirral I can enjoy this hobby more now.....

Hi Phil, welcome to our site and welcome to astronomy, ask as many questions as you like thats what we are here for. A good observing site on the Wirral is the country park at Thurstaston, we do an event there most years so keep your Eye out for when the next one is and join us there.
